Yes, you’ve heard of this man and this book before.  For all my visual friends, here’s a taste of what the book is about direct via Richard Hine, the author.

I really enjoy how they put together the top part of the book exactly as written.  Funny end scene (and various “climatic jargon” end credits).

For my good friend, B., who loves Austen.  If I knew this is what the books were all about, I would have read them already.

Testing a new YouTube sizing for this blog as well.  Had to put this book down for a week to read Advanced Reader’s copy of The Beauty of Humanity Movement by Camilla Gibb.  Both books are completely tremendous.

Could Nicole Kidman look less like Nicole Kidman? Only in this movie.

After reading the book, not sure if I agree with Penelope Cruz as a 17-year old.  Looks like Matt Damon’s make him look almost 16.  Seems a bit incestuous, though.

Don’t remember an airplane in the book (except mentioned in passing).

Well, guess I should see this now.

Another notable thing about Canadian writers, or ‘famous Canadians’:  none of them live in Canada.

Especially liked the chapter about food in a vertical tower.  Where are the mashed potatoes anyway?!

I believe the voice-over is Morgan Freeman from The Shawshank Redemption movie.
